Women’s Art Prize Tasmania finalist selection underway

Shortlisting is underway to select the finalists for the 2019 inaugural Women’s Art Prize Tasmania.

We would like to extend our thanks to the judges for lending us their expertise, knowledge and experience in shortlisting the finalists. With an overwhelming number of amazing entries, selecting the finalists is going to be a challenging task for our judges.

This year’s Judging panel for the Women’s Art Prize Tasmania is composed of experienced, skilled artists, art workers and members of the Tasmanian art community. They are responsible for not only helping to shortlist our finalists but judging the Acquisitive and Emerging Prizes.

This week we will begin to shine the spotlight on each of our judges for 2019.
